The city of Ul’Dah was abuzz with excitement last week, as the Manderville Gold Saucer hosted its annual Mahjong tournament. Thousands of players flocked to the venue, eager to test their skills and win big prizes. But one Roegadyn was there for a different reason - Detective Edwyn Strongbeard was on the case.
In the weeks leading up to the tournament, Edwyn had been investigating a conspiracy among the Mahjong players. He had received confidential information that some players were colluding to rig the games, and he was determined to uncover the truth.
As Edwyn made his way through the crowded Saucer, he saw the evidence of the collusion everywhere. Players were exchanging subtle hand signals, making secret deals, and even sneaking into backroom meetings. Edwyn knew he had to act fast if he wanted to put an end to the cheating.
The detective had a secret weapon up his sleeve - his partner, a tiny Lalafell named Watson Pommie. Wendell was an expert at hacking and surveillance, and he had been working behind the scenes to gather evidence against the colluders.
As the tournament got underway, Edwyn and Watson kept a close eye on the players. Soon enough, their work paid off. They witnessed a player using a banned technique to gain an advantage over his opponents. The detective stepped in and exposed the cheater in front of the entire audience.
